Green Valley Farms
The company runs 3 small farms in Somerset and Monmouthshire producing historical produce, mostly pre 1660 varieties. We use historical methods of cultivation without modern pesticides or fertilizers which assists biodiversity. Much of the output is used in our own period feasts and displays but there are increasing surpluses available for purchase.
Crops, animals and the farms are also available for demonstrations and film location work. Part of one farm was used as the location for the BBC2 series Tales from the Green Valley and other productions.
